Frequently asked questions
Can I add today's date to the footer?
Yes. Tap '+ Today's date' to insert {date}. It is printed as dd/mm/yyyy, for example 28/10/2026, using the date on your device.
How do I show 'Page 3 of 10' in the footer?
The footer starts as 'Page {page} of {total}'. {page} becomes each page's number and {total} the page count, and you can mix them with your own words.
Can I put my name and roll number at the top of every page?
Yes. Type them in the Header box, for example 'Riya Sharma, Roll No. 1234'. The same header is printed on every page.
Can the first page have a different header from the rest?
No, the same header and footer go on every page. To leave the first page out, split it off with Split PDF, add the header to the rest, then merge them back.
Can I align the header left and the footer right?
No, one alignment (left, centre or right) applies to both. Text size can be small, medium or large.
Can I write the header or footer in Hindi?
Yes. Hindi and Marathi in Devanagari script, and the ₹ sign, print correctly. Tamil, Bengali and other Indian scripts are not supported yet, so use English for those.
How long can the header or footer text be?
Up to 150 characters each, printed on a single line. Keep it short enough to fit across the page, especially at the large size.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is processed inside your browser on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for Aadhaar, PAN, bank statements and other private documents.
Is it free? Do I need to sign up?
It is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.
