Frequently asked questions
What will be inside the ZIP file?
One image for every page you chose, in JPG or PNG, numbered in page order. You can pick all pages or only some, for example 1-3, 5.
Does the ZIP make the files smaller?
Not really. JPG and PNG images are already compressed, so the ZIP just bundles them into one download. To make pages smaller, choose JPG and a lower DPI.
Can I zip several PDFs together?
No. This tool takes one PDF and turns its pages into images. Convert each PDF separately, or merge them first with Merge PDF.
Should I pick JPG or PNG for the page images?
JPG gives smaller files and is right for most uses and forms. PNG keeps text sharpest but makes bigger files.
Which DPI should I choose for the images?
150 DPI is good for viewing on screen, 200 DPI is clear enough for most online forms, and 300 DPI suits printing. Phones go up to 300 DPI and computers up to 600 DPI.
Can I open the ZIP on my phone?
Yes. Android's Files app and the iPhone Files app can both open ZIP files and save the images to your gallery.
Why does my phone pause during a long PDF?
Pages are converted in small groups with a short pause between them, so your phone can free memory and the page does not crash.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is processed inside your browser on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for Aadhaar, PAN, bank statements and other private documents.
Is it free? Do I need to sign up?
It is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.
