Can I convert an MP3 or voice note to PDF here today?
Not yet. Audio to PDF is still being built and can't transcribe recordings right now.
What will Audio to PDF do when it's ready?
You'll pick a recording, check and correct the written transcript, and download it as a PDF.
How can I get a transcript of a recording meanwhile?
Use the transcription feature in your phone's recorder or office app if it has one, or type it out. Paste the text into our Create PDF tool to save it as a PDF.
Which audio formats will be supported?
We expect common formats such as MP3, M4A and WAV, including WhatsApp voice notes. The final list will be confirmed at launch.
Will it understand Hindi recordings?
We'd like it to handle Hindi as well as English, but language support isn't final yet.
How accurate will the transcription be?
It will depend a lot on the recording: clear speech with little background noise works best. You'll be able to edit the transcript before downloading it.
Can I do the opposite and listen to a PDF?
Yes. Our PDF to Audio tool already works and reads a PDF's text aloud.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is processed inside your browser on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe for Aadhaar, PAN, bank statements and other private documents.
Is it free? Do I need to sign up?
It is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.
