About the Pay stubs
Pay stubs show your earnings and deductions for each pay period. Landlords and lenders usually ask for your last two or three (sometimes 30 days' worth) as proof of income.

Can someone remove the black box later?
No. The hidden text is deleted from the page, not just covered up, so copying or editing the PDF won't bring it back.
Is my file uploaded?

How do I black out Aadhaar or PAN numbers in a PDF?
Tap "All Aadhaar no." or "All PAN" to mark every match on every page, then check the boxes and download. There are also buttons for phone numbers and email addresses.
Can I search for a name or account number and hide every copy of it?
Yes. Type the text and tap Mark. The search ignores capital letters and spacing differences, so "1234 5678" also finds "12345678".
Is drawing a black box in a PDF editor the same thing?
No. A box drawn in an editor only covers the text, which can still be copied out from underneath. Here, redacted pages are rebuilt as images with the boxes burned in, so the hidden text is deleted from the file.
Why can't I select text on some pages after redacting?
Pages with at least one box are turned into images to remove the hidden content for good, so their text can no longer be selected or searched. Pages without boxes stay exactly as they were.
How do I redact a scanned PDF?
Draw the boxes by hand. Scanned pages have no text, so the search and the Aadhaar or PAN buttons cannot find anything on them.
Can I hide a photo, signature or stamp?
Yes. Drag a box over any part of the page, including photos, signatures and stamps, and it is blacked out like text.
Will the automatic search catch every private detail?
Not always. The ready-made buttons look for common patterns, and any 12-digit number can be marked as an Aadhaar number. Go through every page before you download and add or remove boxes as needed.
